Food safety case records: where plants started and where they ended

Each record shows the operation, the standard, the gaps found at the first assessment, the result at the audit or inspection, and how many weeks it took.

What results do food safety consulting projects produce? Our case records compare the starting gap analysis with the certification audit or inspection outcome for manufacturers, packhouses, importers, restaurants and brands. Client identities stay confidential, and records not yet authorized for publication are labeled as illustrative.

How to read a record

The case record format

We don't publish testimonials with logos, because most food companies don't want their audit history public. Instead, every project is summarized in the same structured record, so you can compare a situation like yours at a glance.

FieldWhat it shows
Sector and profileType of operation, approximate size and area, never the company name
StandardThe scheme, regulation or program the project targeted
At gap analysisWhat we found at the first assessment, such as open gaps or violations
At certification auditThe result at the audit or inspection that followed
OutcomeThe business result: a score, a buyer approval, a contract kept
WeeksTime from gap analysis to the audit or milestone

Confidentiality. Client identities are confidential and are only shared with written authorization. Records marked as illustrative show the format and a typical engagement while real client data is pending authorization. Results depend on each operation's starting point and commitment, and no consultant can guarantee an audit outcome.

Using these records

What a case record can and can't tell you

What to compare

Look for a record with a similar operation and standard, then compare the starting point. A plant that begins with a working HACCP plan and prerequisite programs moves faster than one writing everything for the first time. The number of weeks reflects both the size of the gap and how much time the client's team could give the project.

What it doesn't show

A record can't show the work behind it: the night sanitation visits, the operator interviews, the supplier documents chased in Spanish. It also can't predict your result. Every audit is decided by the certification body or regulator on the day, based on your system and your records.

Want a record like these for your operation? It starts with a gap assessment, or a free 30-minute gap call to see where you stand. You can also browse by industry or read how we work.
